Latest updates and announcements from the MethaSense project
The MethaSense project has officially started with funding from the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space. The project brings together five partners to develop an intelligent, drone-based solution for methane detection at landfills.
All project partners met for the first consortium meeting to define work packages, milestones, and collaboration frameworks. The team established communication protocols and set the roadmap for the first project phase.
The Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space has approved funding for the MethaSense project under funding code 02WDG1764D. The project will run from November 2025 to October 2027.
